The CVJM (YMCA) Würzburg’s activity centre (Freizeitzentrum) is in Münchsteinach, which is located in the Steigerwald forest between the Schlüsselfeld junction of the A3 motorway and the town of Neustadt an der Aisch. 

We can accommodate groups of up to 170 people and offer the options of full-board or self-catering. For groups who wish to self-cater, we are one of the largest centres in Germany!

The distinctive ‘Hermann-Kupsch-House’ and large community lodges are characteristic of our activity centre, surrounded by 11 Steigerwald forest houses and plenty of nature. We also offer spaces for sports and games, as well as our team garden and range of adventure-based experiences. We can be flexible to meet the specific needs of your group.

Would you like to experience a very special year?! Then come to us. We offer you a voluntary year in the recreational center. More variety is simply not possible! Whether working in the office, kitchen, housekeeping, technology, green areas or experiential education. With us you get an insight into all areas and can help shape your FSJ. You live with us in the recreational center in a flat share and get to know many other FSJler  at seminars. Of course also those from the CVJM house in Würzburg.
